Winter is a season that calls us to draw close, to share warmth, and to remember that we are never alone. Our Winter Warmth gathering is exactly that – a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon where the Afghan community in Brisbane can come together, share stories, enjoy traditional music, and taste the flavours of home.

Whether you’ve been in Australia for decades or just a few months, this is your space. We’ll have conversation corners in Dari and Hazaragi, a short poetry recital, board games for the kids, and plenty of hot chai and homemade soup to keep the chill away.
